My summer internship! I worked for my hometown newspaper and learned so much about local government and local issues.

Advice to new students

It is perfectly normal to feel anxious and lost when you first start at a new school. Don't beat yourself up for feeling this way. The best way to feel at home at a new school is to find a community, and the easiest way to do that is to get involved! The more passionate you are about the organization, the better.
