Lion's Eye Literary Magazine, Tau Sigma-Transfer Honor Society, New Jersey Christian Fellowship: Prayer Team Leader and Art GIG Leader, Kappa Pi Art Honor Fraternity I also love attending all the different special events and exhibits on campus, especially gallery openings, and being able to connect with the visiting artists!
Being able to share our stories and experiences is a big part of what I love about being an ArtsComm student! There’s such beauty in being able to connect with others through vulnerability, hearing people then allowing them to be seen, and helping to create change with the new perspectives you learn.
The tables outside the math building by the fountain because the architecture is beautiful, especially during the sunset and the Spiritual Center!
I was a prop master for my high school theater department and my favorite prop I ever made was a realistic looking pineapple out of plastic spoons and cardboard for Peter and the Star Catcher!
If you mess up, take some deep breaths and maybe go for a walk (preferably outside) and be willing to try again! Remember, it’s not about perfection, it’s about having courage to be willing to try again and realizing you have the strength inside you to persevere :)
