Emilie Lounsberry, Professor of Journalism and Professional Writing at TCNJ, won a 2018 Salute to Excellence Award from the National Association of Black Journalists. Winners in this prestigious national competition were announced Aug. 4 during NABJ’s 43rd annual convention in Detroit.
The winning entry, published in The Philadelphia Inquirer, was co-authored by Emilie and Inquirer staffer Michaelle Bond, in the “newspaper, single news story” category for newspapers of over 150,000 in circulation. Please view this excellent piece titled “Testilying,”
