Regina Holliday, an artist, international speaker, “high-profile patient advocate with access and influence few other individuals can match” (Kaiser Health News), will visit TCNJ on Wednesday, February 19th, and Thursday, February 20th.
On February 19th, 2pm-4pm, Holliday will paint in Student Center or outside (pending weather), and will have a one-on-one conversation with students, faculty and staff. On February 20th, 11:30am-12:20pm, Holliday will deliver a campus-wide speech in Education Building 115. In her speech, Holliday will focus on the power of the individual to create change in national health policy. Using her personal family experience and the stories of other patient advocates, Holliday will weave together concepts in data integration, social media, public policy and the arts.
Holliday’s work has become part of the national healthcare debate, and she has begun a movement called “The Walking Gallery.” For more information, see:
