TCNJ Brings Regina Holliday [Artist, Speaker, National Healthcare Advocate] to Campus 2/19-2/20

Regina Holliday PosterRegina Holliday, an artist, international speaker, “high-profile patient advocate with access and influence few other individuals can match” (Kaiser Health News), will visit TCNJ on Wednesday, February 19th, and Thursday, February 20th.

On February 19th, 2pm-4pm, Holliday will paint in Student Center or outside (pending weather), and will have a one-on-one conversation with students, faculty and staff. On February 20th, 11:30am-12:20pm, Holliday will deliver a campus-wide speech in Education Building 115. In her speech, Holliday will focus on the power of the individual to create change in national health policy. ­Using her personal family experience and the stories of other patient advocates, Holliday will weave together concepts in data integration, social media, public policy and the arts.­

Holliday’s work has become part of the national healthcare debate, and she has begun a movement called “The Walking Gallery.” For more information, see:
