TCNJ Alert: Power update: class cancelation, housing, dining, registration

The college has been able to diagnose the cause of the power outage affecting several campus buildings. Repairs are expected to extend through the night and will necessitate us to shut off power to additional buildings. Because of this, the college is cancelling Monday classes after 3:30 p.m. and all classes on Tuesday. Classes will resume Wednesday morning at 8:00 a.m. Administrative offices will remain open.

Alexis Bell ’19

Alexis Bell
Journalism, law concentration; Spanish and communications minors
Hamilton, NJ

Student Spotlight: Alexis Bell is a junior Journalism and Professional Writing major with a concentration in law and minors in Spanish and Communication Studies. She is currently interning at a local law firm and was recently named the recipient of the 2018 David West Memorial Scholarship, which is an annual scholarship awarded to collegiate journalists in the Mercer County area.

After graduating next May, I hope to pursue a career where I can combine my passions for writing, the law and Spanish.

Be prepared to learn and grow outside of the classroom. This is where you will thrive as an individual, take on exciting experiences, and develop your own perspective on life.

The School is a place where every student is able to develop their own talents. In my case, this meant expanding and broadening my skills as a writer, reporter, and journalist.
