Brown Bag Series: “Pivoting to Video: The Truth, The Fantasy and My Evolution,” presented by Bumper DeJesus – December 1, 2017

Bumper DeJesus believes everyone has the power to create. Visual communication is what moves and shapes the world, and it has never been easier to use technology to develop multimedia projects. In his Brown Bag Series discussion, Bumper focused on the multidisciplinary nature of multimedia and how this allows for experimentation and boundary-pushing with cross-disciplinary collaborations. His biggest piece of advice for freshmen and budding professionals alike? Stay creative, invest in yourself, and find what drives you.

Bumper is a five-time New York Emmy award winner. He is a former photo editor and a founding member of The Star-Ledger video department. Bumper is now the managing producer for multimedia at NJ Advance Media, where his work appears on, the company’s flagship website. He is a graduate of Rutgers University and lives in Lawrenceville with his wife and two daughters.
