TCNJ Alert: Power update: class cancelation, housing, dining, registration

The college has been able to diagnose the cause of the power outage affecting several campus buildings. Repairs are expected to extend through the night and will necessitate us to shut off power to additional buildings. Because of this, the college is cancelling Monday classes after 3:30 p.m. and all classes on Tuesday. Classes will resume Wednesday morning at 8:00 a.m. Administrative offices will remain open.

Yifeng Hu

Department: Communication Studies

Professor Hu earned her Ph.D. in Mass Professor Hu earned her Ph.D. in Mass Communications at Penn State University, her master’s degree in Communication at Chinese University of Hong Kong, and her bachelor’s degree in Journalism at Renmin University of China. Since joining TCNJ in 2007, Dr. Hu has continued to advance her research and publication program in three areas of scholarship that she pursues: a) e-health (new media and health communication); communication technology’s impact in interpersonal and social contexts; and communication technology and pedagogy. Dr. Hu’s most recent work focuses on the roles and effects of new media and emerging technologies in health communication. In detail, Dr. Hu has developed a three-pronged research agenda in this interdisciplinary area: 1) consumer health informatics, 2) doctor-patient relationship in the Internet age, and 3) online social support.
