From Microsoft HQ to the armed forces, TCNJ’s newest grads are off and running.

Despite a year and a half of remote learning and quarantine, members of TCNJ’s Class of 2021 finished out their college careers and turned their tassels at in-person ceremonies May 19–21. That’s #LionStrong.

Here’s what’s next for some of #TCNJ2021’s remarkably resilient grads: 

Victoria Giardina, journalism and professional writing
She’s joining the New York Post’s newsroom in June as a commerce journalist on the features team.

Javier Morales, physics major
Will head to Princeton University, where he’ll work on a PhD in physics.

Rupak Doctor, marketing
He’ll work as a sourcing excellence analyst at L’Oréal.

Alexis Marta, communication studies
She’s on her way to grad school at Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Steven Pae, technology education
Steven will open young minds to STEM as a technology education teacher in Hamilton Township School District.

Alejandra Cruz, mechanical engineering
She’ll start a position as a mechanical engineer at Robert Derector Associates in Morristown, New Jersey.

Simran Kaur, physics
Simran will attend the PhD program in astronomy at the University of Virginia.

Katherine Vicente, accounting
Katherine will start a position as an audit staff accountant at Crowe LLP in New York City.

Nery Fajardo, criminology
Cadet Fajardo will commission as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army National Guard as a military police officer.

Dana Finkelstein, nursing
Dana will begin her professional career as a mother-baby nurse at Shady Grove Medical Center in Rockville, Maryland.

Kevin Marin, chemistry
Kevin heads to Emory University to work on a PhD in chemistry.

Sarah Armstrong, marketing
She took a position with Beiersdorf USA, as an assistant brand manager for Coppertone Sunscreen.

Julia D’Arienzo, speech language pathology
She’s pursuing a master’s degree in speech pathology at Seton Hall University.

Griff Morgan, mechanical engineering
Griff will attend the University of California, Berkeley next year to begin his master’s in mechanical engineering with a concentration in advanced energy technology.

Asianna Hall, women’s, gender and sexuality studies + African American studies
She’ll take a position with HISPA, Inc. (Hispanics Inspiring Students’ Performance and Achievement), a New Jersey-based non-profit organization that mobilizes Hispanic professionals to serve as role models to encourage student success.

Emma Web, chemistry
Emma will head to Vanderbilt University to pursue a PhD in biomedical sciences.

Dylan Lembo, communication studies
Dylan’s on his way to Seton Hall University School of Law.

Caroline Rubin, health and exercise science
Caroline heads to Monmouth University to study in a physician assistant program.

Mary Addie Patterson, finance
She’s heading to Manhattan to work as a financial advisor and analyst at Merrill Bank of America. 

Joely Torres, urban secondary education
Joely will continue at TCNJ, pursuing a master’s degree in urban secondary education.

Antonio Gamboa, finance
He’ll start a position as an associate at Mercadien, an advisory, tax, accounting and wealth management group in Princeton and Philadelphia.

Nina Navazio, interactive multimedia and English
Nina secured a full-time position as a content publisher at Microsoft HQ in Redmond, Washington.

Nathalie Torres, public health
Nathalie will attend Boston University’s MPH program, concentrating in human rights and social justice.

Calvin Kim, computer science
Cadet Calvin Kim is commissioning as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army as an active-duty cyber officer.

Darcy McLaughlin, biology
Darcy’s off to Ireland to complete a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at University College Dublin.
