Natalie La Spisa
Major: Graphic Design
Fairfield, NJ
Year of Graduation: 2018
What are your plans after graduation?
I will be working full time at Automatic Data Processing, Inc. as a User Experience Designer.
What advice can you offer incoming students?
TCNJ can be anything you make of it because it is such an inclusive and nurturing community. Take the time to explore your interests and you’ll find that they become your passions.
What does the School of the Arts and Communication mean to you?
Design is everywhere. It’s the apps that we use, the signs we see, books we read; it determines the way we as a culture visually communicate. Design is conveying a message, a concept, an emotion. It goes far beyond the surface and delves into the psychology of the human mind. I am so lucky to have studied a subject matter as robust as design my past four years. It has taught me so much about myself and even more about the world around me. For that, I am forever grateful.
