To pursue a career as a journalist at a newspaper, magazine or online publication.
Be involved and focus on self-improvement. There are plenty of opportunities to learn and grow with organizations like The Signal, but you need to put in the time and be open to feedback.
The School of the Arts and Communications set me up for success. My journalism professors were a source of constant wisdom, while my experiences at The Signal helped me experiment with my writing and get worthwhile clips for internships. It’s also where I met the love of my life, so I’ll always be thankful for that and more.
