Robert Guarino

Department: Music

Mr. Guarino has been tenor soloist in opera, oratorio, recital, and with symphony orchestras throughout the country.  He has appeared with the Boston Symphony, San Antonio Symphony, Harrisburg Symphony, The Opera Orchestra of New York, the Princeton Pro Musica, and the New Haven Chorale.  He has been a soloist at Carnegie Hall in Bach’s B Minor Mass with the National Chorale, Bach’s St. John Passion, Bach’s Christmas Oratorio, Mozart’s Requiem and Mass in C Minor, Berlioz’ Requiem with the St. Cecilia Chorus, and Handel’sMessiah with the Masterwork Chorus.  In addition to being the tenor soloist for the National Choral Council’s “Messiah Sing-In” at Avery Fisher Hall, Mr. Guarino has appeared many times with the Long Island Choral Society.  In 1996-97, he was its Artist-in-Residence.
